Does anybody know why there is a difference of 1$ between these two versions?

Surprisingly, the one that comes with the "Quick Button" and Earphone Wire Clip costs 1$ less that the other headphones that doesn't have any extra items. Why is that? Do you think that there are difference between the headphones themselves?
Are they genuine?

They dont sell fake Xiaomi products period.

Its a promo price/bundle. Same thing happened with the xiaomi miband sale they had a while ago. They have multiple pages for the same product. Just order the cheapest one.

Got my Pistons 3 today, only 100 rmb (I live in China), so why the hell not.

I'll be honest, I've never been a fan of Pistons 2 and thought they were overrated as hell.  Nice design, nice case and nice android remote, but the sound was sorely lacking being your typical V shaped IEM with bloated bass and muddy/veiled mids.  The Piston's 3 though I gotta say, is a damn nice improvement over the 2 with mid's being much more clearer.  The bass is still a bit bloated but not too bad.  Sounds good running straight from my Exynos Note 4 and sounds better on DX90 + C5.  These are definitely worth the $17 bucks I paid for them, definitely didn't think that about the Pistons 2.

People like you make me laugh...in a strange way.
How can they complaint THAT much and be SO severe when they pay less than 20$ for a pair of earphones...I mean...relativity law isn't about expectation but more about the price you pay you know. I pay more than this for beers or wine every week. Price range really reflect on my critic and attempt, not hype. In fact, hype scare me and made me more sceptical.
As any V shape I find the 2.0 to lack in mid but not THAT much...their something special about this earphones and because of this I use them more than my custom pair of Westone es2 wich cost...hum...300 times the price of this earphones and have an immense soundstage. They really sound nice with the Ibasso Dx90. Really really nice.

I think that my pistons 2 also didn't have sticker, also from searching web I didn't find that pistons 2 have sticker, just bunch of things to look at like plug, wires to identify if it is fake or not.

After 5 years of loyal service (and only having to replace the cable once), I've unfortunately lost my pair of Triple.Fi 10s.  I'm looking for a decent replacement on the cheap; can anyone compare the sound quality of these Piston 3's to the TF10?  Optimally I'd like the clarity of the TF10s with a bit more bass, but I realize that may be asking too much in this price bracket.

Also, do the buttons work to control volume on iPhone?

Thanks in advance!
