Damn son!!!!.... now my wallet is pissing itself again in absolute fear.I have the Sparkos SS3602 on the XD05 Pro. It takes it to the next level. It's a great upgrade over the Mojo 2, Shanling H7 and Fiio Q7. They don't come close once the XD05 Pro has the Sparkos op amps.

Did you check if SS2590 work with XD05PRO?
Sorry, but I haven't had the time or inclination to do it yet.
The V7 Vivid will arrive in a couple of weeks, and I hope to be able to do so with this opportunity.

These are not the new, it is an offer of bundle with two single SS2590 + dedicated dual dip8 adaptor. I'm also interested in this bundle and would like to know how it compares to the new Burson V7 opams. Anyway, to test these you need to buy "two flexible dip8 socket extenders" or "mini pci-e opamp board riser".anyone already tried the new Sparkos SS2590 pro? https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/opa/sparkos-labs-ss2590-pro-dual-p-18979.html

thank you for clarification! as they have a lower number in their name, they might not beat the SS3602 anyways. from reading they basically seem more efficent, right? These are not the new, it is an offer of bundle with two single SS2590 + dedicated dual dip8 adaptor. Is there any "mini pci-e op amp board riser" suitable to XD05PRO available in the market please? These are not the new, it is an offer of bundle with two single SS2590 + dedicated dual dip8 adaptor. Would like to try to plug the Xudoo op amp board on the top so we can plug in op amp like burson V6 or v7.

Which DAC module were you using? This thing sounds amazing with the Sparkos. So smooth yet so clear. More extension up top, retains the same energy but it's smoother and much more refined. The detail is amazing. Mids gain a touch of weight but again, not sacrificing clarity, instead its improved. The low end becomes extremely dynamic, fast, textured and highly detailed. I use a little eq on my Ananda Nano, but this combo. To say the Ananda Nano actually slams hard. Very impressive. But the main thing is the staging and imaging. The XD05 Pro stock is already very very good. But yes, the Sparkos takes it next level. I was listening to Type O Negative The Glorious Liberation Of The People's Technocratic Republic of Vinnland by the Combined. At 58 seconds a helicopter goes past. From one ear to the other. I was using my HE1000 stealth and I seriously felt a helicopter was going past me. Plus it was extra realistic because I was sitting outside enjoying a beer haha. Overall, I am beyond impressed. One of the best purchases I've done in years. And if the XD05 Pro sounds this good. Truly amazing. I can't wait to hear how It'll sound with the R2R dac and maybe other higher end dacs that come out. Imagine a very nice R2R dac, or better ESS dac. And Sparkos release a triple discrete Opamp that is not as wide, just slighly smaller in width but obviously height will be taller. But if the height can be less compared to the SS3602 with the extra dip socket/riser. It would be a game changer . But I'm getting ahead of myself. Overall. Xduoo XD05 with ESS dac and Sparkos SS3602. Just like @nioh said. It's a match made in heaven

"SS2590 Pro" is the highest grade Sparkos op-amp at the moment. It is much bigger than SS3602. To use SS2590 with XD05PRO you need to buy 4 pieces of these single opamps (60€ each) with two dual dip8 Sparkos adaptors (15€ each). Or you can use two of these new dual SS2590 bundles (150€ each).thank you for clarification! as they have a lower number in their name, they might not beat the SS3602 anyways. from reading they basically seem more efficent, right?

Mini pci-e opamp card riser-extender from Aliexpress:

Also you can try to search for these flat flexible dip8 extenders in TaoBao. I did not find them in Aliexpress.

even tho they are called "SPARKOS LABS SS2590 PRO Dual Discrete OPA" which already contains Dual?
I was not talking about the older "SPARKOS LABS SS2590 PRO Single Discrete OPA"

This "new op-amp" is the same old product, just made for users easier "ready to use" as a "dual opamp" version, which contains the same old two SS2590 single opamps already put in one dual op-amp which contains: "Sparkos two single SS2590 opamps" with "dual opamp" adaptor
In other words you can buy yourself two pieces of single Sparkos SS2590 op-amps and one "Sparkos two single to one dual op-amp adapter" and you will get exactly the same product, as you would buy Sparkos the new one "dual SS2590" op-amp
And price will also be the same.

I did ordered the mini pci-e opamp riser, but have problem in securing it with the screw.
The riser has both screw holes different from the original op amp board (illustrated below with the op amp board upside down).
So just wonder how we can secure the riser board to the original op amp space in the XD05PRO please?
