I bought the ifi power x it works great my question is can you use it to also charge XD05 pro

also im using my Shanling M6 ultra as my music source do i need to using it in the line out mode or can i use it using my 4.4 out to the 4.4 in of XD05 pro if i do do i need it in the line out mode or can i use it in the headphone out mode
There are a couple of options I'd consider, which I think you refer to:

1) USB-C to USB-C - you'll just use the M6 Ultra as your music source, so the XD05 PRO acts as DAC and amp
2) Line Out from M6U to Line In on XD05 PRO - assuming you have a proper balanced Line Out function in the M6U (not sure, but I assume that can be set in the software on the device), this would allow you to capitalise on the amp in the XD05 PRO only. The M6U would act as the DAC in this case.

If you use headphone out mode from M6U, you're effectively going to colour the signal with the M6U amp section before hitting the XD05 PRO. It's likely to sound worse, imho.

With regard to feet, I think there are plenty on the former bookstore only site. I personally don't want feet on my XD05 PRO and don't have an issue with it getting a bit warm. I'd just pick some you think look right for your circumstances.

Electric, ticking, crackling noise. This is normal, it was also present with topping g5. Then you also have volume control inaccuracy. :)
Hmm, does it also make the electric static sound on Bluetooth mode with the OPA op amps? In my case, the OPA op amps don't make any static noises. It's only the LME op amps that makes this weird noise on Bluetooth mode.

My XD05 Pro arrived today. Absolutely love it, everything feels much more alive and real than with my Mojo 2/Poly - when paired with my HE1000 Stealth.

I've got 3.5mm + 4.4mm cables, exact same cable just with different terminators. In some very quick tests between the 2, I'm noticing slightly higher fidelity with the 3.5mm, and slightly weightier sound with the 4.4mm. This is after attempting to level match between the 2.

Has anyone else noticed anything similar, or have any thoughts on the differences between the outputs?

I have the Mojo1 and poly. Never used it. It's lifeless and dull. I never understood the fascination so many people have with it.

On other news. I just plugged in the Trulis HA8802. It does indeed have a big and open sound. The bass is not as tight and dynamics are not at the same level as the Sparkos SS3602. Gonna burn in overnight and try again.

UPDATE: I think I prefer this to the SS3602. Thanks @Bengkia369

UPDATE AGAIN: It does indeed sound like a tube amp.

Yes. It's tiny. Just the IC, comes with a standoff as well. @Bengkia369 recommended a buffer to pair with it for even better sound. That one has not arrived yet.

"HA8802 + MK9 AG Dual upgrade buffer"
Can it be closed the lid with that combination?
I will have to get back to you on that. Mine has not arrived yet, it'll take another week.

I think @Bengkia369 has received his. Maybe he can chime in.

I did not install on my XD-05 Pro, I installed on my Aroma Audio A100TB.

How much thicker this buffer compare to empty dip8 socket ?
And how it's effect on A100TB

Thanks
MK9 buffer is way more wider and double PCB layers, there is no way to fit this inside of xd05pro unit with door closed.
MK8 buffer seems to be the same size as typical empty dip8 socket, but has little bit higher feet.
