not necessarily. you can use the dac with its own battery, and charge it overnight.

Hi - I just received the XD-05 and download and install TUB driver v3340 as mentioned on the previous page and I'm getting only '16bit 192Khz Studio Quality' - Is this highest?

UPDATE :- Apologies for the above noob question - Found the solution, need to set the format at TUSB Audio Control panel.

Trying to connect X5-2nd Gen which got a 4 pole Coax plug but the XD-05 definitely not recognize a 4 pole 3.5mm coax signal at its side....please let me know.

The 4-pole plug into Fiio X5-2nd, and the other side is a 3-pole plug into XD-05. At the same time, the input switch on XD-05 should be on the left.

Thanks for the reply - Yes I switch the input to Coax position - The Problem is I didn't find a single cable with 3.5mm 3 pole with single male RCA or Female RCA...all I'm getting like this

All I need only one RCA male....I doubt with 2 RCA will work.

I need some advice
Just received an xduoo xd 05 and i pair it with my iphone 6 with camera kit but i don t understand why xduoo doesn t by pass the iphone dac
My fiio q1mkii with the lighting connector allows me to drive the volume with the q1 mkII and the iphone volume has any effect ,
with the xduoo the volume button on my iphone still have an effect

why ?
