Yes. An ordinary OTG cable will work.

Last week I received my XD-05. Wonderfull device, very good build quality. Paired it (digital) with my Fiio X5 and my Dunu DN-2000j. It sounds fantastic. Not the lightest combo, but sound wise absolut top. I'm very happy with it. For 149€ a great price-performance ratio.

I want to buy this but warranty is a big issue. What to do if it gets broken after 2 months? Sending it to china would cost more than the product lol

Yes, mine have also this misspelling at under side. I didn't notice.

Connecting through coaxial would be using both.
If you are using line-out, it would be amp only.

If you're even asking about this comparison, you should just get it already.

Hm if you can try the Fiio X7, I feel that the stock XD-05 sounds similar to that. To my ears (running coax out of my X3ii) It can compete with $4-500 DAPs like the Cayin i5.
