Hello! My first post here at head-fi.

I recently bought this player and it doesn't seem to detect my transcend 16gb card. Tried fat32, exfat, added music without tags.

My X2, first and third revision, firmware 5.0E, work normal with Lexar 64G x300, Lexar 16G x633, Kingston 64G C10, Kingston 16G C4, Team Group 64G x300.
Problem may be in the card or X2's card reader.

can anyone tell me the difference between FW6.0 and FW6.1 please ?

Changes in 6.1E:

1.Changes on the basis of V6.0E increase Lock Key setting function, setting whether need to lock all keys when the screen is off.

2.Changes of the menu option order: 1. Music files 2 Play mode 3. EQ 4. Backlight off 5. Sleep timer 6. Lock keys 7.Exit.

hello, I recently bought it's twin called hippo mu, which is can use firmware from xduoo x2 ( previous owner installed fw 7.0 ) and I heard about fitear x2 copy too, I wonder if these 3 can exchange firmware each others, but sadly hippo mu doesn't offer firmware upgrade...

I too saw the Hippo Mu awhile back, not available for sale these parts just yet, but I contacted Jaben and they told me it uses Xduoo firmware, so u should be able to put whatever Xduoo firmware version you like on the Mu.

which version is more stable? fw 7.0 doesn't really had shuffle mode, it's sometimes keep playing previous song that already played, pressing next button also sometimes bring back to already played song.

Ah well... u see I own a Hippo Biscuit+, and it has the worst 'shuffle' feature I have ever come across on any DAP, I would go so far to say it is completely broken, doing such weird things as u say like playing the same track again and again when u hit skip, and this with a sd card full of thousands of tracks lol. Could be a Hippo and not a Xduoo thing...
