iFi is an ASP (analog signal processing) driven company. We will not do any sort of digital EQ on our products it goes against our design mentality.

Ok. I don't get ASP vs DSP design ethos on a digital audio converter that has usb decrapifiers, digital reclocking etc, but that's just me.. both can coexist and offer great flexibility to customers, and can be transparent enough if well implemented.

Anyhow.. a man can dream.. I'd love a Swiss army knife product like the Qudelix in a Gryphon style portable all in one with better sq

I'm a little puzzled. Pushing button #9 cycles between Off, XBass, Xspace, and both

Yet there is also a switch in the back, #12, that has three settings. Bass, Presence, or both.

How do these interact with each other?

The volume control jiggles, clockwise and anti-clockwise. I don't get a solid feeling. Is this normal, or a manufacturing or design defect? How are all of your units?

I have been living for more than a month now with the gryphon and the focal utopia, mostly listening at night, and this dac makes my foot start to tap easily without me thinking of doing it. And there are many dac’s that don’t make my foot tap often.

This says a lot about the sound of the gryphon to me or any other gear that makes me doing this involuntary without thinking, is what music is all about.

Playing master mqa tracks in uapp the led for kHz is green and sometimes blue.
Any suggestions? I have add on purchase in uapp. On the oled screen it just says 44 or 48

Open UAPP settings in USB Audio and select Bit perfect option

In sequence. Took me a few tries too! You need to press fairly quickly and without pausing.
