Xbox 360 Core for $100

I'd say so. I saw this and voted for the 360 a while ago. Looks like it won't have any trouble winning the voting considering it had 87% of the votes when I voted. The real challenge will be actually getting one. They are only selling 1,000 units at this price, and the more this news gets around, the more impossible its going to be to get one when they go one sale Thanksgiving day.

What do you think the chances are of scoring one of these things? I'd say very very slim, that it would just be the luck of the draw for people all clicking at the same time at 11am PST on Thanksgiving.

well, I have two concerns besides wondering if all 1000 will be gone by minutes or seconds.

Now to my concern, first, what if the two orders are placed at the same time (down to second or even 1/10 of a second) and they are the 1000th and 1001th order. Second, will Amazon server crash at the start of the ordering.

One smart thing to do is to synchronize your computer clock to the atomic clock because that's likely the time Amazon will use.

This has been on Digg, and probably everywhere else by now. Good luck with it

Glad to see that it's back at the original price. I bought a used premium for $325 a couple weeks ago and I'd feel horrible if I could've just gotten it at this price instead.

Edit:
Oh, it's not there yet. Well by the time I check, it won't be there.

Its possible this is just the console without any controllers, not even the powerbrick. I've seen some 360s selling on ebay without the controller or powerbrick for less than $200.

Probably seconds. Imagine the April HF-1 resale, but ten thousand times worse!

Actually, i just got mine last monday at microcenter. They have a $100 rebate.

yeah, I was looking at that. Don't really need an xbox, but for 100 I'd get one. Be useful for lan parties and I wouldn't hafta play Halo PC for my Halo fix
