If I buy the core, can I upgrade it equal to premium ver. by buying accessories?

Yes. You would have to buy a wireless controller, a network adapter (i think), a hard drive, and i don't know what else.

I have a question. Can a simple USB flash drive be used for game saves, and things of that sort?

360 Core = $100 (if lucky)
360 HD = $100
VGA or CV Cable = $ 40
Wireless Controller = $40
Headset = $20
Ethernet Cable = $15
Month of XBL = $5
TOTAL = $320

Savings over premium = $80

If you can live with a wired controller, have an old Xbox headset, ethernet cable, and already have XBL, you save $160. No HDTV or do not plan to connect to a computer monitor, you save $200.

If you are really pinching pennies, you can just get the Core and memory unit for $130!

You can get it for about $330 on dell's website. Or with a $100 rebate at microcenter.

Can we have an after Thankgiving post on everybody that was able to get one for $100.

I wonder how difficult it is considering the odds.

Would best buy price match the $100 discount from microcenter?
