X1 Custom Firmwares
Jun 26, 2015 at 5:04 PM Post #76 of 207
I've updated my theme so it's now available for Firmware 1.4 ...

Download link

Thank you very much for the custom firmware. I really like 1.3 and am going to try 1.4 too.

However you may want to consider a different server to host your files.
When I downloaded that file, I got stuck on an advert page with script pop-ups and couldn't get out of the endless pop-up scheme.
I finally did, but I highly suspect that page is either very unethical with their pop-up scripts, or just an outright scam.
I keep my pc very clean and use adblocks, antiV, anti-spyware, etc... and make sure to stay away from bad links.
This is the first one I've run into in a long time. Scanning my pc now to make sure that page didn't root something in here.
Anyway, just letting you know...

Sorry, I've no plans to convert this theme for the X3ii. I don't own an X3ii, and currently don't plan on getting one.

Thank you. Cheers

(I'm not the author, all I did is repack the theme in the new 1.5 fw, all credits to  TCD1975  for his awesome work!)

Though these should work on any X1 device , I am not responsible if your device goes boom-boom because of installing this theme.

Thank you svil3! could you please explain how to do it for future firmwares so we can do it by our own?

Sure!

Just using this tool:
http://fiio.me/forum.php?mod=vie ... &extra=page%3D1 <-- thanks to the author of the tool
1. Unpack the 1.5 FW file and the 1.4 FW themed file.
2. Copy "litegui" folder from 1.4 folder to 1.5, overwriting it.
3. Repack, load on X1 and your good to go
(don't forget to edit the bat files to match the model)

I ported the X3ii themes to 1.3 a while ago and took some pictures of the themes. Besides the first theme (Grey/Orange), the themes are pretty bad, IMO. But to each their own, of course :p
