I was just curious, have there been any changes of signifigance or at all in the WA33 standard edition since it's inception? I'm interested in them, I've seen earlier used ones from around 2019 (not sure when they were released) and then newer used ones that are a year or so old that tend to go for maybe $800 to $1,000 more. So I guess the question is if I can buy a mint 2019 for $800 to $1,000 less than a mint 2022 is there any compelling reason to buy the newer one? Understood if both have stock tubes the tubes would probably have far fewer hours on the 2022. So I guess I'm more asking about changes unrelated to tubes, maybe Woo maybe revisions to improve performance or fix issues related to earlier units. Thanks!

No revisions publicized that I'm aware of.
As a previous owner of a late '17 unit purchased directly from Woo and enjoyed for 2+yrs--I made the mistake of selling it only to buy another 6 month old pre-owned '20 unit in like new condition which I've been enjoying since, with both, sounding excellent too me--as well as the same.

So, I don't know where to put this, as we don't have an official thread for the 3ES, but I'm trying to sell my 3ES Elite (I'm getting out of estats), and I'm not getting much traction on here. What are the other sites I should try? I don't wanna go eBay, but I guess I will if I have to.

usaudiomart.com, audiogon.com (they take a percentage of the listing, I think 4% but check that.) TMR take stuff on consignment I think or buy from users (https://tmraudio.com/)

Thanks! TMR is my last resort, as they will probably give me very little for it, but it is an option at least. I'll probably just check in and see what they'll offer. I have an absolute bottom line, or I'm just keeping the 3ES as a 300B pre amp.

I reached out to TMR and they want to charge 35%

Damn. I just submitted my 3ES Elite, we'll see what they offer. I'm expecting something really low, but who knows?

As already mentioned--USAM is an excellent place to sell.
Also--seems selling is slow lately, at least here on the forums for what I've been watching.

It's after Christmas and too early for income tax refund season.

Well TMR won't buy the 3ES Elite straight up. They'll consign it and take a 35% cut. That means my I'll only get around $6k for it :triportsad:

I guess it's just a waiting game. If it doesn't work out, it's a good pre amp to my CFA3 🤷‍♂️
