And what's the issue?

None, no issues at all. I just shared that 274B and WA33 is just working fine for me for past 2.5 years

@pippen99
I used a NOS United Electric USAF 596 in my WA6 for 4+yrs, then used the same one it in my WA33 for +/-2yrs, and when I sold the WA33 that same 596 was included in the sale to @JLoud. I know he is using another rectifier since, but I'm sure there are no issue with the 596 whatsoever. Very reliable tube in my experience, and I enjoy the sound very much. I use the EML 2A3 S in my past & current WA33 and was curious as to how the EML 5U4G sounded and was going to buy one. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to trade my 596 for the 5U4G with another member to demo being he was interested in buying a 596 (which he immediately did) and I did not proceed with purchasing the 5U4G being I much preferred the 596.
I buy the EML 2a3s, but when I power on the amplifier the tube emit a strange metal noise, is it normal ?

Top amplifier. Must change the tube, stock are not good for my ears. Now I’m using shuguang 2a3c and eml 5u4g, the result is good but I think that I can do better
Sure can, Takatsuki, KR maybe even some Linlai

Good stuff available

@MichalZZZZ
Congratulations on you new WA33 and enjoy!

Great amp. And while some like to tube swap, it sounds terrific with the standard tubes.
I like to swap out tubes, but definitely agree that the WA33 sounds terrific with the stock tubes which is how I listened to it (in home) and from there purchased it.

Thank you, but with use and burning of the tubes the startup noise remain ? I write to wooaudio and Mike reply me that it isn’t normal
Both my WA33 and 3ES have that metal ping too until the tubes warm up. It doesn’t last long at all and then it goes away completely. I was under the impression that it was normal

To have more information about the EML 2a3s I write to European distributor Jac music that reply me as follow:
yes this is normal. The heaters of the tube expand when they get warm.
From 25 to 900 degrees. It is a lot, and quite some expansion. In the
top are springs to keep the extension. While expanding, they slide over a
(transparent) mica edge, when looking very carefully inside, you can see
this edge. This is a calibrated part, for exact heater to grid distance,
and there has to be some side force. When they slide over, this gives
some noise, as you hear it. Sometimes metallic, sometimes ticking, and
sometimes tube have no noise. When warm there is no more expansion, and
the noise stops. Some other design tubes do not have this calibration
part. Such are less precise with data, and have no warm up noise.
