Awesome pics! The Woo 6SE is one of the best amps I've heard. It's fabulous.

Ooh, not often do I see a commercial amp I wouldn't dream of modifying for fear of making it worse.

The amp was built November 2008
The amp exerts amazing control over the RS-1's
I have added a Sophia princess (which sounded slow and muddy for the first 20 hours!!)
Now I can't decide between the 6EW7 and 6FD7. The former have more bass but very slightly less detail - both excellent though
I love it - but not the price

How does it compare to the Darkvoice 332?
Do you find the Darkvoice congested at all?

Pretty. I can't wait to get mine (stock with Sophia)! The caps mod isn't worth the money because I haven't heard it

It looks like the maxxed version adds some resistors in place and it's not just one to one swapping out of some caps.
Also, I notice the gold brick looking dale resistors are in the PSU box in this maxxed version, whereas it's in the amp box in my stock version.

they look the same to me... the large black mills are in place of the "gold bricks"...
i'd add additional filtering stages for both front and back sections.
