That is one great looking amp, kinda looks like something from Forbidden Planet!

This is the third time this song came up and the intro vocals had me suddenly jumping and turning my head because I thought my gf was behind me trying to get my attention. Not once, not twice but it got me again.
Anyways, wanted to share because it speaks to the holographic synergy between WA23 and Susvara and that special realistic timbre of vocals .
Also, I spoke to Michael and he suggested the following tube rolls-I read the insightful impressions on the Tak 2A3s, but anyone have experience with the WE5842 driver tubes? Or the KR Audio 274B rectifier? (since it seems that the Tak rectifier can impact the lushness of the midrange due to its technical nature). Wish it were easier to demo these things without having to blind-buy!
Michael from Woo:
"The Takatsuki 2A3 upgrade tubes are significantly better than the stock tubes in every way. We also recommend the following upgrade tubes for your system.
- Western Electric 5842 (driver tubes)

- KR Audio 274B (rectifier tube)

I'm having this crazy thought of using the WA23 as a pre for the 465 (not always) and also using it separately.

I use it to pre for the Enleum, prefer the WA23/Enleum alone for headphones. However, when i drive my speakers with the enleum, it sounds much much better with the WA23 in the chain.

Has anyone tried the combo of D8000Pro LTD + WA23? Will this make a good combo? Thanks

I have. The WA23 helps tame the treble a bit. I actually liked the D8000 Pro LE a bit more on the WA23 than on the Mass Kobo 465.

The 465.The Utopia or the 465?
The 465.
465 is overkill for Utopia and other easy to drive headphones like the D8000 Pro LE. For Susvara for example, it sounds its absolute best on the 465
