This is a crazy hobby.  I mean, what about a $106,000 amp?  $15k seems like a drop in the bucket in comparison!

I believe Each contains a bunch of fixed jumpers (electrical, not wooly) and maybe some passive components so when they're plugged in, the system is configured for a particular type of tubes.

So... has anyone actually tried this beast yet? I'd be really curious to hear some impressions as I've always loved the tubes it uses (drivers, powers, and rectifers) and they really are beautiful pieces. Yet I can't help but feel it's a waste of money for anyone who's not going to make use of its power amp capabilities as well.
