The S3 is not yet supported by Voodoo Sound, so I would not recommend flashing it until Supercurio updates it to work with the S3.

I agree completely. Not sure I ever recall a more pointless gadget.
 
I think their idea is that it is for use when exercising, but they appear to be forgetting that we might rather use bluetooth in that scenario and have the S3 in an armband.

The TF10 have a wild impedance distribution thus i you don't plug them to a source with less than 2 ohms of  output impedance you'll get a hole in the frequency response (In the treble in the case of TF10s).
 
An as of now the only smartphones with less than 2 Ohms of output impedance are the iPhones. That's the objective truth that i wish the S3 can change.
 
For the record:
 
there are two reasons to need an amp when driving headphones:
 
1. Volume
2. Linearty
 
The TF10's as most multidriver armatures are likely to need an amp in order to get a linear signal.

+1 it affects the high frequencies, fortunately I could compensate with parametric eq using neutron media player. Yeah I was familiar with the Iphone having low output impedance, not sure of every model.

They just released the SGS3 in my country but I'm not sure if I should get it with this pricing - it costs 650 euro and for this money I might just keep my SGS1 and get a dx100, which will sound a lot better.

I'm not sure if it was covered already in the 40834 previous pages, but: US users be aware...I believe we're getting the snapdragon version due to compatibility issues with LTE & Voodoo is only happening for the quad core chipset.
