Anyway, I just got my Pro 900s and listened to them thought... meh... Then went through the D4 preferences in playback devices control panel and it was on Mono... switched to stereo...

Btw, Pro 900s HIGHLY recommended for bassheads - this is simply amazing... 100% better than my HFI-780s...

Glad you like their out of the box sound, some people find it too bright.

I bought the pro 900s used, so the physical burn-in (if you believe in that) is done, all that's left is the psychological one (if you believe in that)!
 
I can't wait to get the 598s to compare, if anyone has those, send a tell my way
