I don't know how but I somehow managed to get a perfect clean cut on the headphone cable of my PC 350's, the mic cable is in perfect condition though. Will Sennheiser Canada fix this under warranty? I sent them a support request over a day ago on their website with no reply and their support number gets me a french guy's voicemail, I hope they will get back to me via e-mail on monday.
 
I'm considering resplicing them myself if I have nothing to lose in trying but im not confident in being able to do it with all the shielding and insulation ect..
 
This wouldn't be such a big deal but im unemployed at the moment so tossing away a 200 dollar headset will always suck but it hurts more at the moment because I can't afford to replace them.  
 
I'm using old apple earbuds and I have weird left ear apparently too because the left one keeps falling out.

In case anyone is searching for the same question in the future Sennheiser Canada will repair it under warranty no questions asked as long as you have a receipt.
