Hey man, the Donnie Darko soundtrack was a pretty decent one as far as soundtracks go. Even if the movie's emo teenager cult status is especially shameful.

I bet two of those Weezer albums are quality (the first two). I don't know nothing about the recent release and don't care to find out.

Everyone has some sort of pop in their collections. I'd hate the guy that doesn't, because he'd probably be some elitest music prick.

Oh heck, as long as we're admitting stuff... I actually like one song by New Kids on the Block (Please Don't Go Girl), mostly because it reminds me of a period of my life when things were, uhhm, memorable. I guess I won't feel too ashamed, as long as it's purely a nostalgic thing

.

That lead singer kid sure has a whiney voice tho... it would require some truly excellent gear to take the edge off it

LOL... who doesn't have any NKOTB mp3's on their hard drive?
biggrin.gif

for some STRANGE reason i have "Hanging Tough," "The Right Stuff," and "Step by Step." hell... i even have more Take That mp3's than NKOTB... and hell, i actually have the Robbie Williams Greatest Hits CD somewhere at home.

you wanna talk about embarrassing? i have the full Transformers The Movie soundtrack! and that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie theme song by Partners in Krime or whatever they were...
eek.gif

of course, none of this stuff ends up on my iPod... well, maybe a few songs by Robbie makes it to my Shuffle every now and then. i still like "Angels," "No Regrets," "Rock DJ," and "Millenium."

and yeah... the first two Weezer albums are nothing to be embarrassed about. i think Pinkerton is even better than the Blue album.

oh, another album i am never embarrassed about is Kylie Minogue's Fever. this album has nothing to do with her teenybopper days.

I feel ashamed now for making such a lame joke)

The problem with Weezer is having four albums. Ipso facto, that means you _must_ have one of the really stinky ones - either Maladroit or Make Believe. It's like saying you have three Korn albums.

Do you guys really go to the trouble of loading individual songs on your daps? I guess I am old fashioned, or lazy (actually both, now that I think about it) but I think of music in terms of groupings. The idea of plucking a single song out of an album, or suite, or symphony, just seems like reading just the last page of a book. Chalk it up as another character flaw of mine

I'm exactly the same - all I have on my Karma is albums, so I'd have to be in really bad shape to let any cheese through (100 Top Rock Anthems is the worst crime on there) - this intrigued me so much a couple of weeks ago that I even made a poll

I have two From Autumn To Ashes CD's...I refused to put the new one on here. I also have two tracks from The Mars Volta. Ick.

That's just what's on my DAP, if you want to talk about shame, I'm not going to even bring up what I have on CD

[I'll give you a hint...Smurfs, Chipmunks, and Lion King]
