Why do People Read While on the Toilet?

I just don't get it.

You should go in there on a mission, and with a purpose, and reading the sports pages shouldn't be one of them.

And while we're at it...how 'bout a courtesy flush.

my personal guess as to why people read on the toilet is they don't have a gameboy to play while on the toilet

My cousin used to play games on the can. I just ride the mother out.

Well, I actually prefer the Russian classics for my bog-time reading. Nothing like a bit of Chekhov or Turgenev to help the flow, or perhaps Dostoevsky for those 'longer' sessions. Some Tchaikovsky on the headphones can also help to embellish the period atmosphere..

Rolling Stone for me, I couldn't imagine using a game on the throne.. the hygene issues alone...
