I know that the Clip had an earlier release date, but I still seldom see a Sansa Fuze in people's pictures here. Don't they have the same SQ, but with the Fuze having a clear advantage in screen size, controls, expandability regardless of the price difference?

Why do I see so many more Sansa Clips than Sansa Fuzes on this forum?

Clip is cheap and has no competition in its class. I believe many have them as a secondary player for backup or gym use, in addition to their main DAP.

Yeah, I'm using my Clip right now since my main DAP broke. I'm thinking about getting a Fuze, but I'm waiting until something new comes out before I blow some cash.

I think it's because they're affordable and good so almost anyone can afford to pick one up.

headsup to UK Head-fi people
play are doing a 12gb Fuze - assuming its 8+4gb card - but could be worst case 4gb + 8gb card for 49.99 delivered
even better than the 39.99 clips at PCWorld (8gb)
ordered one today - and they're in stock

Well, the Clip and the Fuze are basically the same price on Ebay tbh. Both are suited for different purposes though.

The Fuze isn't that much bigger than the Clip. I think there's very little reasons to get the Clip over the Fuze, so I am not sure either why everyone has the Clip instead the Fuze.

I think the Fuze is an ugly attempt to look like a 3g iPod Nano.
There, I hope this will balance the odd a bit and make everyone happy

I posted pics of my Fuze here several times, showing off a few of my new cases I got for it. No one ever commented back, so I just moved on. I have both a Fuze and a Clip, and they are both great, but my Fuze is expandable, so it's my primary player.

sorry that was the other main reason
expandability
8gb = largest clip
8gb MicroSD cards are nice and cheap for the Fuze now
expandability
8gb = largest clip
