I know this is probably gonna sound like a lame question, but how would you describe the main sound signature differences between the HD800 and the Orpheus? I do understand they are both in leagues of their own, but I'm still curious.
 
I bet it's harder to find an Orpheus to try out in Europe than winning the lottery, more or less, but some impressions would really help me out compare the two in my head, at least.
 
I assume the Orpheus is more musical and not that strict to detail and highly analytical as the HD800?

I think the best you can do to answer your question is to read David Mahlers thread. I expect he has carefully compared the sound signature, especially of the high-end headphones.
My answer would be from my memory only and that certainly tricks me.
I think I would agree with Davids description (but also from my memory, as I have only the HD 800).
