Came across this photo on google images and was wondering where i can get it from.
Currently reside in Singapore but I don't mind getting it from US if it's that much of a rare gem.

Amazon does not have the white one...... :/

They look like they have similar construction, could you simply exchange the drivers from a D1100  into a D310 enclosure, and use the white pads and band?

It's a big question whether you could saw off the mismatching bits off AH-D1100 driver panels and insert them into AH-D310 somehow (most likely glueing, as the screw holes don't match).

Anyway, the AH-D310 have better low midrange (this is where AH-D1xxx are horrid, they drop the third octave by about 6 dB and boost 6000-6800 or so range to increase "ambience"). Overall they're better balanced, though they sound more like supra- than circumaural (less air, more "in-the-head"). So you don't exactly lose much by getting AH-D310, other than saving a hundred bucks and getting a more "in-the-head" soundstage. Electric guitars will be so much better than with AH-D1xxx, and the overall sound warmer.
