Which sleeve gives the best sound quality for Shure IEMs ?

While waiting for black foamies, I'm trying all slevees. So, I find gray flex sleeves more fine for me because they're less irritate my ear. And more comfortable I think are foamies. I just can't wear Triple Flange Sleeves nor the clear sleeves, they're rigid for me.

I think it depends on your ear, some people seem to be good with the grey flex sleeves. For me, the first time I tried the grey one, I got good isolation I can tell, but the sound is just unbearably awful, bass was too heavy and muddy(e4!!), almost no treble. Gives me a nightmare. It sounded worse that my EX71!

Afterwards, I tried the yellow foamies. And straight away without hesitation, I threw away the EX71.

I just got 5 pairs of black foamies on ebay for $14 after seeing them being so highly recommended.... hope they're worth it!
