I did, I have had a X1 for 4 months, AH-D 600 for 3 months. This is actually the hardest choice I have encountered . My personal opinion I think them both have same level of sound quality. Denon is slightly better, and has more bass.
Actually, Denon AH-D 600's price has dropped so much, you can get a pair of new one for $250 on ebay. I think AH-D600 has the highest overall quality/price ratio of all close back headphone under $600. I heard people say Ath-m50 worth more than its price, but I have never owned one/or try one, so I cannot make a comparison between AH-D600& Ath-50m; may be 50m is great, too.
I have both and Denon D600 are better (IMO):
1) More comfortable than X1 (wasn´t expecting that!)
2) Better, cleaner, deeper bass (really love it)
3) Better mids - better textured and more forvard
4) Surprisingly similar soundstage (like 80% of X1). Considering its a closed can.
5) Better overall clarity, fuller sound and more treble presence
However D600´s sound have something "not natural" about it, I don´t know how to explain it.
I strongly recommend them and specially for EDM (Trance, House, Dubstep, Chillstep, Breaks, etc.)
