I just finished an hour long phone call with my ex, which put me in a mood.  After I got off the phone I remembered I needed to new pair of headphones.  Hopefully my state of mind doesn't rub you the wrong way.

I haven't kept up with IEMs much.  Maybe the wonderful members of Head-Fi can help me out.

I prefer the Grado sound signature,
sealed,
preferrably with tri-flange or foam tips available.
I found the e4 to be a worthwhile upgrade over e2c.
I tried the se530 next, but it didn't impress me for the cost.
(I used all of these with a 120gb ipod classic, unamped, 256kbps mp3s).
I'd rather have a flavored sound signature than something flat and my SQ expectations aren't extremely high.
Overall, before sound signature, price, looks, and comfort, I want something durable.  I've had 2 Shures, 2 kosses and a pair of Grados crap out on me in the past year (through normal use).

With that said, can someone guide me?  My budget is less than whatever se530s cost.

Thanks for your help!
