Durability is very important since I keep messing my headphones up, listen to all sorts of music, mostly Hip Hop, Classic Rock and Psychedelic Trance.

Like me, your source and amp won't be able to fully realize the Fostex T50RP. From what I gather through reading, mrspeakers's Rastapants 2 and bluemonkeyflyer's BMF mods are two of the best ones that are currently released.
