Hey guys, I was looking around for a headphone great for classical indian music (sarangi and such) and wanted something really clear and crisp for it but still have the bass for the drums. An example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ebWcq3Jkiw&feature=related . Would you recommend I go for a RE0-Zero or similar?

I will be using it with my HTC desire phone, my budget is around $100. Ive owned the DENON C551 which I bought for about $45 awersome headphones but I lost them. How would the new ones compare to these?
Thanks!

If you budget were a little more I would direct you to this thread I started a couple of weeks ago looking for the same thing :)

Actually, you could probably look through it, there are alot of great suggestions in there:

I went with the Monster Miles Davis, got em for way less than list price from JR

Re-Zero/re0 won't have the bass needed. Look in /joker's/ review thread, there are a few which almost have the same detail as the re-zero (which is nice but sounds a bit artificially detailed), but a more balanced sound.

The HJE900 are quite transparent and in your price range, but you'll want to mod them to reduce the sibilence (you'd need to do that with the Re-0/zero as well).
