Hd 280s got me close. First time I ampd my k601s it was pretty amazing compared to what I was used to.

To be honest, my first eargasm was probably on some cheap headphones that came with a walkman in the 90s and i don't remember it. I can remember listening to all sorts of music on rubbish equipment and thinking it was amazing.
I'm sure whatever it was would sound tame to me now. Kind of like not getting turned on by the underwear section of a mail order catalogue any more...
