For some reason it keeps coming back to the HD650 - surely not? I've tried it with LCD-2 Rev 2, Fidelio X1 ...

Are you planning on buying a headphone specifically for Avril's song or for overall listening quality? Seems rather strange to ask to spend so much to get the best out of one track.
 
Signature DJ, TH600, DX1000 probably are some of the overall best headphones which would also give good slam in the low end for most songs.

good point. I was disappointed by the LCD-2's bass under 35Hz ... I might give that job to my sub

I can hear and differentiate every slam on that song with Alpha Dog driven by O2/ODAC
