Bandcamp also usually offers lossless, although I'm not sure if a lot of bigger names use it.

I use itunes, but their store is a complete joke. Amazon used CD's are pretty much your best friends, just pop them in and rip to lossless, done. In 90% of cases the used cd shipped will be half the price of the same itunes album@256k

I can't find any service which offers anything I want to buy. It's not that I want to own any more CD's, but I buy them anyway and rip 'em myself.

I buy CD's (new & used) from Amazon & Half.com, rip them, and either sell them or give them away or straight up trade them to other people for their CD's.
