I see them often mentioned that they are a good deal at a $100 but I don't see a legit website that offers them for that much.

Edit function isn't working for me, I have one more question, is it possible to get white M-50's? Like I think in this picture.

i dont think audiotechnica actually produces a white version, but to anwer your other question, i got my m50's for $95 on ebay.  there is a store that sells (or did sell) them on ebay where they were listed at $100, and you could make an offer. i was only able to get them down $5, but it was well worth it.
 
i just checked my paypal, and the seller was big time audio (proaudiomart.com).  the site has changed a lot though since i had bought it which was 3 months ago
