Excluding classical, because there's just too much good stuff out there, my abbreviated list would be:

- Hybrid Theory (by Linkin Park)
- Songs in A Minor (by Alicia Keys)
- Moulin Rouge Soundtrack

I can't pick my favorite out of these albums.

They kinda remined me of INXS (the first album).

everything else they play on the radio sounds like Pearl Jam or Creed. I hate Pearl Jam.

2001 disapointed me. I dug out my old punk albums and listend to them. Punk rules!!!!!!!!!!!

Best album of 2001 and in the top ten rock albums of all time for me is Lateralus by TOOL; Honorable mentions: Amnesiac, Radiohead; Toxicity, SOAD; Morning View, Incubus....
