What's your choice for closed ear cans with iPod / iPhone?

Sony now has an iPhone version with remote control on the cable that can operate the Play/Pause, Forward/Rewind, Volume Up/Down, and Mic.  I have the non-iPhone version and I agree that the ZX700 are good cans for the money.

My summer and winter walking cans are the on ear Senns HD25 ii.  I think they isolate better then my M50s.  But they are on ear and not over ear...

The goldring NS1000 work well for me, you can get them half price at the mo. They are active noice cancellers so you wont have to damage your ears if you are in noisy places, and they are very comfortable.

Sound quality is very good, though they are more refined than bassy "beats" styley.

Winter in NY is COLD.  I think op will need something with nice thick pads to keep his ears warm.  I know!  Sony MDR-XB1000.  Not very good for non-electronic music, but the ear pads are BIG.  If the XB1000 are too BIG, the smaller XB700 should be perfect.

I'm thinking these might be a little large, I will be mistaken for a truck

My XB700 are excellent winter cans. Nice earmuffs and fun sound.

Lately I've been walking with the ProDJ100, but they stock cable is cumbersome being coiled. I'm really considering having it Mogami recabled.
