In order: New shoes, Sharp MD-DR7 portable recorder, Sony D66 Eggo headphones, new source (any decently priced suggestions? tryin to get the most out of my four grand

), as maxed out meta42 as JMT could make for up to $400 (I can see him grinning now), Sennheiser HD580 or maybe Beyer DT880 (something with great sound, open or semi-open, and comfortable), the few CDs that interest me right now and put the rest in my account to save.

HeadRoom Cosmic + reference modules, cardas smurf cable for HD600, and some really really grand interconnects. Then invest in a good $2k home source. I'd have some cash left over to buy some good recordings.

Cheers,

Two bucks for socks, the rest in the retirement fund. Investing an extra $4k now should mean a good 3 months less work at the back end. Since I already have kids and stereos, there's nothing that could come close to enhancing my life as much as not having to work. You can never regain lost time. So that's where all my extra cash goes.

i'd drop about 600 on a new source and a meta42, drop about 600 on new phones (probably equinoxed HD580s and ATH-A900s), about 500 on upgrading my computer, and the rest would go to my new car fund.

hmmm... it would also be very tempting to wear brand new socks every day for the rest of my my life.
