I was a Star Wars action figure kid, myself. Of course, I kept them as mint as possible on their cards (i.e., in their packaging). No, I didn't play with them. However, I would occasionally look at them. Yes, I realize how crazy this one sounds.
I collected the card variations, too. "Tatooine Stormtrooper" as opposed to "Sandtrooper," finding a cache of those was a major triumph for a 9 year old.
These laser gun type things that every kid in my neighborhood had. It was like laser tag, except we could play wherever we wanted (and no one kept score). When you got shot, it would zap your head. Very fun.
I would still play with these if I had them. Ageless toys are the best!
Mine was the original hot rod action figure. Once my brother came along, all my transformers either disappeared or were destroyed. That specific one, if I still had it in the original box would be worth a couple thousand.
