Not necessarily a new release, but maybe something you’d been looking for but couldn’t find?
For me it was picking up Odonata by Amethystium. It turned me onto a whole area of music I had only listened to but not owned. Now to keep it company in the genre that I just call electronic until I refine it, I have gotten Thievery Corporation, Dead Can Dance, Enigma, Infected Mushroom, Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream and Bersarin Quartett. Curse you Head-Fi Music forum !

Susan Enan's "Plainsong" album:

Susan Enan: Music (New)

She opened for Over the Rhine and blew everyone away with her achingly beautiful voice. This is her debut album - a very mature and skilled one at that. It took over 6 years to piece together - that's how much work has gone in to making it 'Plainsong'.

You won't have heard of her: she's obscure because she's indie and Brit

An original Black Sabbath CD of the self titled album. Fantastic music and the sound quality is pretty good.
