I like to use a sound file of an old rotary phone ringing. It grabs my attention and others find it amusing.

When school spirit grabs me, I'll switch it over to "Fight On" or "Tribute to Troy." Yes, I'm a USC alum, and no, I never get tired of the fight songs!

But the best ringtone I've heard belongs to a friend. He recorded the sound of a 300bps modem doing a handshake. It is just awesome.
