What Shoes Are You Wearing?

I switch between shoes like 2-3 times a day, but I currently find my Nike SB Takashi 2's some of the most comfortable that I own.

Dr. Scholls. Most comfortable shoes made. Sad, but true.

Wingtips. Not mine, but I have the same pair. These are old Florsheim Royal Imperials, made before Florsheim cheapened things. I have another pair like these in black that I've owned since 1990. I've had them resoled once, but they show no sign of letting up and I expect to get a lifetime of use from them.

Old-school leather soled shoes are terrific - they take breaking in, but end up the most comfortable shoes you own. Then you can have them resoled and touched up for the rest of your life. Hard-soled shoes are one of the best investment you can make.

When I'm not at work, I'm usually wearing a pair of Chacos:

I've gone through several brands of sandals over the years, and these Chacos are unquestionably the best. I'll be buying more once these wear out.

None. I'm barefoot in my phonetics lab right now. There's some pretty comfy carpet down here.

Puma Suedes, this color except I have laces that match the greyish brown part of the shoe instead of the blue ones.

Me too (the barefoot part). I work from home...actually it's my office in the basement...aka my man cave.
