Winamp. I've tried VLC and WMP but that's my favorite...and you can change the themes so easily! And Realplayer gets some use too.

I use Winamp with enhancer plugin fine tuned, this in my media center.
 
For my workstation I use Amarok, I like the online Wiki and lirics and also the equalizer.

Play 0.3 on G4 Mac OS X....Sounds much better than iTunes.

Don't see a reason to use anything else on a mac other than iTunes.  When someone told me years ago how much better iTunes is on a mac than on windows, I didn't believe it . . . . . . . . until I switched to a mac.

i used to use winamp.
switched to foobar a couple years ago
did my darndest to get into jriver, but everything drove me crazy.. simple things were too complex
 
back to foobar - wasapi, easy-q,
ultra simple interace... perfect!
 
i only use jriver now to watch movies or other specialty things like youtube so that i can maintain my eq settings in easy-q - but for anything but movies it still drives me crazy.
