If I was going to the military, i'd choose airforce. Unfortunately there is no RNZAF (pretty much) now, so next choice would be the navy. Stupid clark sell off our skyhawks.

Both my dad and my step-dad were in the Army. (step dad retires in April). We're on an air force base right now, though.

HI: US MARINES 1959-1963. No combat at the time. Went over seas to Okinawa and had a blast for 18 months. Advance infantry duty. I was 17 and they were great years in the MARINES.
