I  see you are a fan of kavinsky , I didn't have listened him much, but I  liked his "Testarossa Autodrive".

For me the reference of "electronic" music, is ken ishii.
I  was literally obsessed by the extra clip, but he produced lot of interesting different music such like the album "sleeping madness".

Gosh! Can you hear the high pitch noise at around 0:30 in this song?

I was just listening to that track when I heard that damn noise and it seriously rapes my ears. It's also the same with youtube and 320kbps MP3.

nope , but I'm not exactely using the best source now (realtek onboard)

I would say it's around 10khz, very high noise, but loud enough to seriously annoy. I was just curious if others could hear it.. or am I just overly sensitive or What. Sounds like an old crt TV when you turn it on.

meh: this has nothing to do with this thread though,

I love the recording style of goldmund.  This album in particular everything is closely mic'd and very smooth.  It gives a great feel.

Rebecca Pidgeon records are one of the best vocal records i've yet heard.
Joe satriani records are quite good, Eric Johnson records are really bad mastered, but really great music.
