I remember doing this test first when this threrad started, but didn't post the results.

Got the same classification.

Goes to show that  3 years hasn't changed my personality.

Just did this and I am: INTJ ...

I THINK I had taken something like this a long time ago but don't remember. Anyway, it is pretty spot on for me. I fit a lot of the description shown here:

http://similarminds.com/jung/intj.html

and I studied math and computer sciences so... guess I chose the correct career path! lol

That INTJ seems pretty regular for Head-Fi denizens.

Must be something in the headphones...............

I suppose I'm not too surprised.

I've been an INFJ all my life, ever since I first took the test when I was 17.

Mine: I (54%), N (45%), F (48%), J (72%)

Ha!  Does it show in my case?  For the record, I got:  I (56%), N (50%), F (25%), J (67%)

ISTP
Introvert(78%)  Sensing(50%)  Thinking(75%)  Perceiving(22)%
You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (78%)
You have moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition (50%)
You have distinctive preference of Thinking over Feeling (75%)
You have moderate preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)

I'm doing engineering, so seems pretty much spot on.

Over the past few years my Perceiving/Judging ratio has changed, but not my overall personality type.

It's interesting that INTJ is actually one of the rarest types, yet it's quite common here. You might be right in general--I'd imagine enthusiast communities on the Internet would be a bit of a magnet for these types. INTJs tend to be less social (so instead of going out they chill on the Net) and like to focus a lot of energy on whatever particular pursuit they're currently taking up, and they tend to be rather sure of their own intuitions and judgments on the matter (sound like the typical Head-Fi fanboy?).

You sure it is one of the rarest type?
Or is it that I keep very similar friends in life

I read it on Wikipedia, so I know it's true.

Now I'm an INTJ

INTJ
Introvert(67%)  iNtuitive(75%)  Thinking(1%)  Judging(11%)
·         You have distinctive preference of Introversion over Extraversion (67%)
·         You have distinctive preference of Intuition over Sensing (75%)
·         You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (1%)
·         You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (11%)

The I rating interests me because if anything, I've become more of an extrovert if anything.
