What is the headphone that you will keep forever and never sell? I'm sure there are many people here who sell headphones that they don't like, or are bored with. So where are the headphones you already own that will never be sold?

Samsung 'The beans'. Had them for years, still on the first pair and got a new sealed one for when ...

It's a love story :relaxed:.

So, so nice and convenient to listen to ... not a Mojo2 in sight.

Of the others, none.

My Hifiman HE1000se.

I’m not always a detail/resolution freak. Quite the opposite these days. But at one point I was chasing the detail dragon and the HE1000se paired with a solid state like the RME ADI-2 is like an electron-microscope for your music.

Add +4 db bass shelf and it’s oh so juicy without losing a bit of detail.

Just trippy to listen to; the most maxed-out resolution I can imagine.

My Stax X9000 are detailed also, but most estat amps add some coloration, to my ears at least. Which sounds awesome too but not as extreme “LOOK AT ME!” like the HE1000se.

Also, hi, first post.

Quad ERA-1. They have such an enjoyable sound signature, i can listen for hours to anything on them. My first serious headphone and i'm still deeply in love with them.

Because I love great mixed live concerts, I could NEVER get rid of my Klipsch Heritage HP3. There are so many other headphones that are light years better, but nothing else comes close for live recordings than these bad boys.

For me, it would be my longest serving headphone, the Grado GH2's. HATE the cable, but could never give up on that sound.
