What is the best/hottest deal you ever got on headphones?

Yamaha HP-50 for 15 euros
Audio-Technica ATH-2 + two Sony headphones + shipping for 10 euros
KWH HOK 80 mint for 15 euros, even if they have at times gone for half that
Pioneer SE-90D for 10 euros, I guess it's ok considering the rarity
AKG K 314 for 5 euros, bought seven pairs - not a headphone but still
vintage Beyer DT 990 for 47 euros was pretty decent

I guess the Beyer DT 100 for 5 euros was an ok deal in that people for some reason seem to regularly pay ten times that. But in terms of sound quality it was a huge loss.

Still the UE triple-fi 10 from amazon about 4 years ago for $99.99.  It also caused me to come here to research whether or not it was a good buy.  Too bad I don't use them at all anymore.

Used set of Bose "OE" headphones in good condition for $10 at a flea market a couple of weeks ago.

Edit:  Compared to retail price, the above is a good deal.  However, now that I think about it, sound wise it's not so good a deal.

just arrived today new Audio Technica ATH-AD900x for $158.00 shipping included from Japan through Amazon.  So far I love these headphones out of the box....can't imagine how much better it's going to sound after some 50hrs worth of burning.  The ATH-AD700's which I also own sound stage becomes minuscule in comparison and sound detail is amazing.  I also have the HD558 which I hate with a passion...it has no life but the bass is excellent.  Also the sound stage is crap.

How are the earpads on the ad900x? Are they deeper than on the ad700? I've always had problems with the pads being too shallow on the ad700 and ad900 with my ears touching the grill. Was hoping audio technica increased the depth on the newer x series.

The best deal for me?

Actually, on Craigslist, I saw a nearly-new pair of HifiMan HE-400s for $185.00.  It was about an hour away from where I live and knowing the value of them at the time, I actually offered the guy $225.00 if he would meet me 1/2 way to transact.  This way, I wouldn't feel guilty about buying a pair of HE-400s for just $185.00.

But, then as Karma would have it ... a bit later that afternoon, a rock hit my windshield on my carma as I was driving.  A $200+ expense.  Thus, the hot deal quickly cooled off for me.

I have more then one " Best Deal"  AHD-2000 New on sale back in 2010 for $160
Another would be Refurb 558 for $105 ( the going rate) Which IMO, hard to beat at $100 Clams.
BUT the BEST deal ever HANDS down is the TBSE for $49.99 from Tuesday Mornings

Yeah, I know these aren't really deals as they are the going rates, But the cash you really won't find better sets at the same price range, You have to go up into the $300 range to get something better.
Trust me I've tried a bunch of stuff.   The Only deal better would be Amazon having a sale on the CAL for $49 like they do from time to time.

I got a pair of Klipsch X10's for $50. Best purchase I've made other than my SR80is.

I also 'won' a pair of wood cups for my Grados from 7Keys, all I had to do was pay shipping

ad700's are a bit deeper but I don't have any issues my ears touching the grill.  They're quite comfy!!!
