 Owning both at the same time would be a dream come true. I plan on having K1000 first, though. I have organized a trade, but he has agreed to give me the K1000, DAC1 and T-Amp before I send off my HF-2 and MAD Ear+ HD + money, just in case the K1000 are not as impressive as I wanted them to be.



 

 I demand a meet here in Melbourne with K1000, Stax O2 and LCD-2. All three will be here in a few weeks apparently (just waiting Duckman's LCD-2 to arrive). I don't know whether I should look forward to trying the LCD-2 someday or not, in case I prefer it over K1000 and O2.
 

 
If that ever happens i would love to hear those feedback wonder if the LCD2 can at least try to reckon with electrostatics. heh 1000+ price range

I have changed my mind and actually just purchased the DT990 as opposed to the DT880.  This was from doing much reading, and ultimately finding a great deal on the 990's. . .money is very important at this point in time to me, and this was the best time to give the Beyer sound signature a go and compare to the HD600's for myself.

I'm on the pre-order list for LCD2, and after that I'm going after the Stax 007MKII.
 
I don't do that much traveling or commuting anymore, but if I were ever to start again, I'd get the JH3A/JH16 as well. Then I'm pretty much done.

I've wanted to try a Stax for sooo long and I just did it....haven't received it yet but look out, here comes my 1st electrostatic rig....went with the 4040 II Signature Series.
 
This will have to fill my cravings for at least a year.

Have you heard the flagship Stax headphones? I was blown away by the 007MKII recently when I did extensive A/B comparison with the D7000. Unless the LCD2 totally blows me away in the same way, I'm definitely getting the 007MKII.

I plan on recovering my D5000's, and I plan on buying a pair of RS-1's. But this is all after I finish my purchase of JH-13's.
