Hey there guys, newcomer here at Head-Fi, but i've been using it for a while for their Headphone reviews.
 
Anyways, i'm stuck in a rut. I enjoy listening to Electronica/bass heavy stuff, but I also like to mellow down to Maroon 5 and Coldplay and such. Can you throw me out some headphone suggestions that would suit my needs?
 
I'd like to keep the price under $100, but it can be bumped up to $200 if need be.

I asked a similar question a few years back and I was told to get the ATH-M50. I think I got mine for about $100 using some coupons but currently Amazon has it for $140... Ebay has it around $130 from a reputable seller.
 
They're great set of headphones with no real need of an amp. They play bass well ((little too heavy for the neutral guys) and brings out plenty of detail for the price.
 
I've had mine for 3 years now and I'm still very satisfied with them.

Or, look at a Beyerdynamic DT-770. A couple bucks more than the 50, but I feel you get a better built headphone. Soundwise, you need to decide, I like them.
