At home with my new HD800's via Meier stack rocking Stones Sticky Fingers.

Is Sticky Fingers any good in terms of production value? I have it on first-release vinyl, but my only analog setup for the past two years has been paired with decidedly low-fi speakers (in-ceiling suburban specials). I really need to buy a second record player...

Sticky Fingers was the first CD I grabbed off a pile, frankly easier to play than spinning vinyl on TT.  HD800 reveals good and bad and The Rolling Stones albums whether on High Rez, CD or vinyl are not at the production level of say Steely Dan.  I have Beggars Banquet 24/96 "Stray Cat Blues" one of my favorite cuts has a a few seconds of audio missing in the L speaker.

Byer DT880 (600 ohm) via Grace m902

Listening to My Secret Life by Julee Cruise and DJ Dmitry.

I am really enjoying it, even though I could only find an MP3 version. Sounds surprisingly good...

How do you like/would you describe the Grace - HD600 combi?

Listening SR80 through Bushmaster, Father to Son, Queen 2 album, sounds sweet
