Finally enjoying some headphone time again with my HiFiMAN HE-400 after a week with the flu. I have yet to touch my other headphones since getting the HiFiMAN HE-400 two months ago they do everything so perfect. Looks like its time to start putting the other headphones in storage for a bit less clutter.

My only concern with pulling the trigger on a HiFiMAN is the comfort factor, I may have to bite the bullet due to the great reviews they are getting lately.

For me they are very comfortable and I can wear them for as long as I want without any discomfort. The sound coming from them is like an illusion spell making me think I have my speakers on due to the spacious audio quality. I always make sure to check the speakers on my Onkyo TX-8555 stereo receiver are off before putting on the HiFiMAN HE-400. I wouldn't want to wake the neighbors at midnight while watching PACIFIC RIM or playing a game of FALLOUT 3.

Right now they are at a hundred dollar discount on Amazon.com

  Newly-acquired RS1i!

This is my solution to upgraditis. Liquidated many other cans to cover this guy. Totally, unequivocally worth it.

Looking grand! :D Congratulations JoeDoe. Did a search on Amazon to satisfy my curiosity and those are some really great headphones. The retro look like vintage gear from another time when the world was as war adds to their mystique.

Beyer T90s. Such a great all-rounder, allowed me to get rid of a lot of headphones I would just never use for very long.

I jumped on the T70 and shoulda waited for the T90.

M-Audio Q40s. They arrived earlier than I expected and this means that I get to use them now instead of when I come back to the UK on the 23rd. I am considering replacing the pads with Beyer velours, HM5 pleathers or Shure 840 pleathers, but for now the comfort is decent and will tide me over.

Dennon AH D5000 with Step Dance amp from DIYmod- I have been sitting in front of the computer for hours and the sound is excellent, the comfort outstanding.
