My friend has been asking me what headphones these are in the Darude - Sandstorm music video. He really, really likes them, and has asked me to find out what brand/model they are so he can go purchase them. I'm not extremely knowledgeable about such things, so I thought I could ask the very knowledgeable community @ head-fi. :]

Would he still purchase them regardless if we told you the only sound that came out of them was that of 100 lawnmowers running over stones?

Not sure I would be using them outside--they have zero isolation.
 
From all reports, they are supposed to be an interesting pair of headphones, though.

Thank you for finding them! you guys are amazing with that.
My friend was extremely interested...until he saw the Tron headphones about a second ago, now he's on those. I guess that shows you how marketing works so well..
 
Though, I am curious to listen to the Tron headphones and see if they're any good..
